Studi is an online business course platform with a genuinely useful point of difference: it teaches you everything you need to know about business, without making you feel like you've wandered into a corporate away day. The brief was to build a multimedia campaign that would speak to students, parents and teachers all at once. No mean feat as those three audiences rarely agree on anything.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Business education has an image problem. Between the buzzwords, the LinkedIn speak and the general air of self-importance, it can feel pretty impenetrable to anyone on the outside looking in. Studi cuts through all of that. The campaign needed to do the same.
THE PROCESS
The idea was to take the most eye-rolling business jargon like "deep dive," "move the needle," "get your ducks in a row," "synergize” “pick your brain” and bring it to life literally. Each phrase became an illustration: absurd, characterful, and very much proof that this stuff sounds as ridiculous as it looks. The warm orange palette and playful illustrated style cut through the sea of stock imagery of people studying laptops in ill-fitting suits, making business feel like something you might actually want to learn about. The idea was flexible enough to work across a variety of media: social media carousels, OOH posters and print executions, each carrying the same central thought: all business, no jargon.
THE SOLUTION
A campaign with a clear idea at the heart of it, carried consistently across every touchpoint. Funny enough to stop a scroll, smart enough to make the point, and flexible enough to work from a billboard to an Instagram carousel. Studi: the best place to learn about business. Except for the cringey jargon — that stays firmly in the bin where it belongs.
