Brief:
To design a poster for the Sydney Theatre Co. to advertise the upcoming Moulin Rouge production. This should have a hand made element to it.

Target Audience:
Theatre goers predominantly female 18–60 who enjoy the experience of a night out at the theatre.

Idea:
Moulin Rouge­—shaking some feathers in Sydney.

Process/Software:
Handmade: the background was created by scratching feathers into a thick textured painted background.
Adobe Photoshop: used to clean up artwork and colour correct this.
Adobe Illustrator: used to refine and develop headline type.
Adobe InDesign: used to layout final artwork, in readiness for printing.
